this is a test of your emergency salsa skillz . . .

1 can crushed pineapple, well drained

1 1/2 c. chopped mango (about 4 mangos)

2 chopped soreno peppers – seeded

1/4 c. to one whole chopped red pepper

1/4 c. chopped green onion

1/2 chopped red onion

1/4 c. chopped cilantro (blegh)

Juice of one lime

*The fewer seeds removed from the peppers, the hotter the salsa.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled theological discourse.

  1. Someone please tell me how to cut a mango like that. And once it’s cut, how do you get those cute little chunks into the bowl without them getting all smooshed? I have no clue. I usually end up fighting with my mango. And it wins every time.

  2. I think this is one of those bogus Internet things that floats around. You can tell it’s clearly fake because everybody knows you can’t make salsa without tomatoes. Take that, you trickster. Can’t fool me.
